Anders Uhlin:

The journal Ethics & Global Politics

Two of the participants of the program, Eva Erman and Sofia Näsström, are editors of the journal Ethics & Global Politics. This is a peer reviewed international Open Access journal whose aim is to foster theoretical contributions to the study of global politics.

In line with the program's aim of integrating normative democratic theory and empirical research on international institutions and global governance, the journal emphasizes the importance of closing the gap between moral and democratic theory, on the one hand, and contemporary empirical problems on the global arena, on the other. In particular it encourages contributions that provide novel ways of understanding and conceptualizing the political challenges the world faces today, for instance in relation to global institutional arrangements but also to other issue-areas that are investigated in the program, such as trade, human rights, development, environment and security.
